Pirate Cove : Single & Video : Ahoy me hearties, Pirate cove is the sixth track I have released in my series of quirky songs and videos. It tells the story of a group of Pirates who all meet at a cove where they store treasure, it’s a real paradise there because the sand is made of gold and it never gets cold. The Pirates have great fun, they party and drink, have sword fights and swim in the sea, celebrating all things that glisten.

The track is summer sounding, featuring percussion and saxophone, it has a slight calypso / pop feel and is probably one of my most commercial sounding tracks, the chorus has a bit of a 1960’s feel.

The visuals are fantasy based and include lots of colour plus we had some great outfits, we also had some amazing props for this one, skeletons, treasure chests, cutlasses, swords, flintlocks, tankards and rigging nets and peices of eight!

The video includes everything to do with Pirates from Parrots, to walking the plank, sword fighting, collecting treasure, and big pirate ships, with jolly Roger Flags and sunny skies.

Some of the costumes resemble Pirates of the Caribbean, and the ship is a bit like the one in the Goonies film, it also resembles Hook.

We  have an Admiral character in it, plus of course my two Great Danes, Goofy and Dana make an appearance, as they do in all my videos.

So shiver me timbers, ahoy there, aarrraaaggghhh, land ahoy, grab your cutlass and come join our party, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum, its a Pirate life for me !!
